Respective Organization:

The Highland Quarterback Club (HQC) respectively requests your organization’s participation in a fundraising campaign to provide permanent restroom facilities at the club’s football fields West of Glik Park in Highland. While the city owns the property, the Highland Quarterback Club actually built and maintains the fields, the grounds, and the concession stands, but receives no monetary assistance directly from the city or Glik Park. This program exists solely on fundraisers and donations. This year alone, the HQC is suiting up 200 kids from the local area to play football and gain exceptional experience and camaraderie from the opportunity of having a league on the local level. We also are suiting up 60 cheerleaders through this program.

On any given Saturday or Sunday throughout the season, assuming 25 kids per team (50 per game), 10 cheerleaders per team, 4 officials, and well over 100 spectators, there can easily be 200-250 people at the field per game. It is becoming increasingly difficult to host this many people with two portable restroom facilities.

One of the upcoming goals of the HQC is to construct a block building to house restrooms.

A local excavating firm is donating to the club the excavating services and rough plumbing material. We appreciate any consideration your organization could provide to help the Highland Quarterback Club and its efforts to continue quality growth and provide an improved atmosphere for our players and spectators alike.
